Founder & Earth Science EnthusiastMeet Angel (www.about.me/angelmccoy), founder of Discover Earth Camp! Angel is a meteorologist by training and a Senior Ocean Energy Specialist. For the past 15 years she has supported the development of ocean renewable energy projects. Angel especially loves wind energy! Seriously...she has a sail boat (#WestWightPotter), so she really LOVEs wind energy! She started Discover Earth Camp to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals. It’s her passion project. She believes that at some point in life every kid has a fascination with the environment... and she was one of those kids! Angel resides in the Washington, DC metro region with her husband, two energetic boys and beautiful little girl.
